Hi all – My name is Sashi Kiran – I am one of the Doshi Nakshatra 1 owners This is just to update all of you that 4 of us (Mr Sigamani, Commander Ganeshan’s father, Mr Xavier and myself) had visited Doshi’s office at Kilpauk this Saturday (March 19th) to inquire into the reasons for the delay in the completion and handover of the project. Though we could not meet anyone in the Top Management, we met Mr Muthukumar (from Admin Dept. Contact no.- 9282333428) and Mrs Filomina (Sales Manager). We presented some of our grievances in writing to them and Mr Muthukumar has assured us that he would arrange a meeting with the Director or someone else in the Doshi top mgmt (most probably on the coming Sunday – actual date to be told to us) Following are some of the grievance points that we have given them in writing – 1) The original handover date was in June 2010. Now the 6 month grace period is also over and further 2.5 months have passed – still there is no semblance of completion or handover 2) No formal communication from Doshi on reasons for the delay. Also the site supervisor / customer executive are not giving any clear picture on the plan for house handover 3) Many of us have taken housing loans and are paying huge EMIs – so every month’s delay is costing us financially 4) Many owners have finalized children’s education in Tambaram based schools based on original handover date. I am Sashi Kiran, I have booked a flat in Swathi Block. Nice to get to know people. By the I understand that DOshi were supposed to handover the completed house by 31st Dec'10. That time has elapsed, however the work is still in progress. I guess they are supposed to pay a compensation on any delay post Dec 31st so we should be asking them for the compensation now. Hi all - I also feel that we should meet at a common time at the site to discuss the progress. Also, it is now almost 15 days past the due handover date and there is no communication on the delay from Doshi's side. It seems we need to take a hard stance on this.
