Do I need to pay one month rent if I vacate house before said time?
Q: Do I need to pay one month rent if I leave rented house before the agreement expires? As there is no such rule in my rent agreement to pay one month rent if I leave the house before expiry of agreement, only it is mentioned \"either party shall inform by written ONE (1) month before vacating the schedule". So i discussed with my owner and he is saying I have to pay one month rent for leaving early. It's not the painting charges which usually give after completion of agreement. My owners comment I need to Pay 2 months rent (one is for leaving early and another as painting charges).

Latest Answer: I said clearly i will not pay any extra money as there is no rule mentioned in agreement...now he is says he does not have money to refund my deposit amount & asking me to wait for some time....
