Hi Shruti, Hope ur questions are answered. I have some questions for you. You said you have been to the site and i see you have been closely watching the progress of FOYER city of late. Thats really nice to hear as people are really intersted to know. I Arvind Kaustab in this forum and many others outside are few people who have invested here , but there are lot of other Customers who rely on commonfloor a lot. Request you not to put information that you have in a wrong way . Please go and discuss this with the builder and find the correct details and then post the same. I also will acknoledge the same . Its hard earned money and lots of effort that has been put by a lot of us before going ahead with a flat in Bangalore. So if u have genuine concerns , yes do let us know . HI Shruti, U have been really negative about the builder since begining and i have been answering you :) Any bad experiences u had with him , please let us know as it would be helpful. Well for your question ,Current Posession date is April end for whcih they are aiming, Seems a bit unlikely. Maybe a May end or more. yes two lifts were promised earlier whcih was later decided to one. Earlier it was 6ppl capacity two , now its one 8 member capacity automatic one. Instead of bearing the maintainence cost of two small lifts , one bigger is easier for a four floor block. Later as association comes into formation, the operation cost of two would be very high also. And yes , the ppl who booked are aware of this change and they havnt hidden this . Regarding Penalty, If during the agreement stage, the customer has the clause written inside his agreement, he will recieve the compensation.Otherwise no builder will pay this compensation as its loss for them. Hi All, Thanks to those who have been reading this and emailing myself/aravind or anyone here for details. I was not active here for a while due to being busy..... Now i am back and also a Foyerite officially. Many of us have taken posession of the flat individually. The amenities is yet not completed, however the flats are ready to occupy. Myself/Aravind moved in on July 1st in A Block. Glad to have this thread going on healthy. @Kaustabh, Thanks for your time here , Yeah i have been battling alone here ... :) The daelay in project is a disadvantage definitly, whcih i have admitted since the begining, but i guess rest are fine. I do appreciate the comments you have given above, all of which we also verified. Kaustabh, I have been looping in lots of future foyerites in mails , so if you have booked, and if interested, jst send me a mail. I shall loop u in the discussions and plans of visit we all have together. m doubtful..as this project has been approved by all major banks.. i happened to see this project few weeks bfr.. they hav SBI banner of the project approval with SBI contact person no. Hav done some basic research on Foyer city.. They have constructed few apartments in Bangalore. Construction seems gud...road r not gud for few meters..tats the -ve side....whole flats r divided between land lord n Builder share...The builder seems to be professional but have no clue abt Land lord...When u enter the Foyer city road, some broker will catch u n show the flats..those r land lord share n they claim to give in cheap rate.....I dont know how to believe on them as they speak in air..What is their authenticity ? doubtful... I request to any buyer please talk n discuss deeply with both land lord n the Builder bfr taking any decision..One can check the authenticity of builder but dont know how to check the same abt landlord or brokers....THINK twice bfr taking this decision..i havnt decided yet..

Landlord also ahs some flats in his name which he wanst to sell . So he mite have appointed brocker for that.....But thanks a lot for replying :) I am following ths post closely.

Would really like you to substantiate your opinion also, because it takes lots f pain for investors to put their hard earned money and its really painful to see such comments just a remark...Please let others knw wats the matter and Y. I assume u were in a hurry and had some bad experience, please share .

Hi All, Iam watching this space for a long time and reading all the comments ,i personally visited Foyer City and made some obeservation . 1.Possession date mentioned is April but its May now and i don't see anybody residenting their and consdition also doesn't seems like that . 2.iam in Construction field and i personally feel that its going to take another 3 months for possession. 3.Their is no sign of Ammenties,if they are givening what ever they promissed its going to take another year for completion,so you may get it ready by 2016. 4.No transformer placd yet ,its going to take 2 or 3 months more. 5.No lift again its going to take another 2 or 3 months . Totally its going to take another 3 months for sure , most important thing is i can't see anybody working there...oneor two people working here and there is not sufficient and they can't finsh is within 3 months. If the builder doesn't have a Plan or not able to finesh on time how can i book or reffer anyone ?? Ramani
Hi Bujjichellam, We have taken posession of our flats in A block a month back[July 1]st.Transformers have been placed, awaiting the Bescom power connections. Lift works are done, not yet placed , to avoid being misused by workers. As and when residents start occupying the same will be started. [Trust me a good excercise now, for us . But for my parents it was difficult to climb stairs . ] Individual flats are ready for posession. Yes Amenities work is in progress now. Yes its a bit slow. But having taken posession the inmates are pushing the builder for faster completion of the same.

Latest Update is : Builder confirmed possession for 15th April, 2014 for three blocks.
Yes....April 30 is the latest Possession date with grace time , Amenities and rest to follow after that.

Hi all, Can somebody tell what the time of possession of flat they are claiming as the common floor website says "Expected completion is around Jan 2014" while Foyer group websites are displaying "Site Under Construction" from the last many days. Anybody has bought flats from landlord here ?
March is the possession month including grace period as of now.. u can mail me @ ajirules@yahoo.com also.

Hi Shruti, U asked me the completion date as per the builder , I just gave the answer. :) If you say impossible, then feel a bit unfair. Then why did u ask me if u have a diff answer! Yes it is delayed, but work has never been stopped, it was going slow , thats all. Every1 who have booked there, is also hoping the builder completes in the time he says. If u ask me details like what work is going on , i do have details.Yes the work is slow a bit. A good news now is the entire kacha road stretch is being made into a concrete road by all the builders there together .Work has also started now. Just wait for a week, hopefully one more good news is on the way. Also request you to not bash me next time you reply like "impossible". Thanks!

Hi, I am interested to buy flat in Foyer city. Last week , I have visited the site and liked it. I saw a banner which says that SBI loan is available and contact number. I am planning to go for SBI. If anyone has bought flats here, Could you please let me know, 1) Whether it is SBI approved and BDA approved project or not? 2) How is the construction quality? 3) How much can we negotiate? 4) How will be appreciation in this localityu in future.
Hi Sriram Request you urself to check the same before you buy not only foyer but any flats. 1) BDA approved, please ask for the DBA approved plan details when you visit the site, The builder will show you the same and if u book, he would be givong you the copies of the same. SBI is alone remaining , remaining all Leadning banks have approved , last to approve was LIC after taking some time. SBI has been leggaly approved, expected soon in sometime. 2) Construction quality , one of our fellow frnds who booked had brought his frind in construction business to check the same. His opinion was good. 3) If you are willing to buy the flat then do express your inetrest and talk to the builder Mr.Manmohan, he should be defntly listening to your discount requests. I dont know how much you can negotiate because the price i guess is the lowest for any BDA approved site in ECity and in such close proximity. But defitle ask and try negotiating. he should listen. 4) contd....

4) Appreciation is defntly bound to happen as the rates are the lowest for any BDA approved sites with so close proximity to It majors like infy wipro etc(1.8 kms from infy). The area looks kind of village with small roads, however u cant expect Major builders anywer iwthin 2kms from heart of ecity. One exists is the Godrej, but again, that is now said to be jst marketed by them and not consructed. The road is quite enuf for four wheelers and also shops and eateries around good and cheap. So if you are looking for spacious wide road sites, then maybe u will have to check far more sites like ajmera concorde etc

Hello Guys!! Today i inquired about this project and the market guy told me that the project is ready to move in. Please help me if everything is Okay with this project.
Rajkumar, A block flats also are ready to occupy. The common area and amentites are still under progress, However the individual flats are ready . We moved in on July 1st and now almost a month old Foyerites. You can check with the builder marketing guy Manmohan further as Kaustabh has said.

Any1 can mail us at foyerresidents@gmail.com FOyer City Apartments, The apartments where I live is having lifts from this wonderful brand called Surya. The builder purchased 4 lifts from surya stating the reason that Surya is the Best brand among Lifts compared to Schindler,OTIS,Johnson etc .... It was said that was the most responsive at the dial of their customer care number. Whether Surya sold a defective lift to Builder or builder got a cheap lift for saving money, eitherways we are the ones who are suffering. Well now let me start the real story. From the day of lift installation till date, there hasn't even been a couple of days the lift has functioned without any issues. Lifts have been just an open incident for unfortunate incidents: * Automatic nearest floor opening functionality not working, Elderly getHoping that this post is read by some responsible authority and not just deleted . Q: When is the project going to get ready? I am interested in this project and I cannot wait for the possession. It is bit urgent. Also provide me the price details.

I was busy and was away for a month and hence missed this forum .... Glad to see others chipping in with comments. I have taken posession of Foyer city flat on 1st July in A block. It is ready for posession , amenities and common area work is still going on. But sounds apt for you as its urgent for you. Yes, current rates are 3000/- but i believe that the same is the least among any other BDA approved/A khata candidate/SBI approved project in E city .
