Q: In our society there are 2 types of flats, 1BHK and 2 BHK. The flat owners of 2BHK are refusing to pay maintenace in proportion to their area. How the maintenance charges applicable? Is it in proportion to apartment area OR it is equal for all?

Thanks Lalit for your sharing your view. In some cases like security, common electricity it is obvious that the expenses are same/equal, but what about the water consumption? Big flat have more than one bathrooms, more floor area to clean and many other things. So there must be some rules defined from Govnt which will clear the proportion of maintenance charges. Hope somebody will reply on that. Thanks Lalit for your sharing your view.
