delay in posession
Q: Date of posession promised while booking the flat was sept 2014 while in the contract they mentioned dec 2015 as a late date. Even after that we are waiting for the posession. Builder is not replying to mails and gives rude response over phone calls. They are saying it is delayed due to delay in power grid making by the govt authorities and they are not responsible for it. ON WHAT BASIS THEY PROMISED POSESSION OF SEPT 2014. We are staying in a rented flat and paying EMIs for this long awated flat.

My comments to replies
Its been over a year since I cancelled. As usual, Bhoomi delayed in responding or giving refund. Then about 9 months ago, I along with 4 others filed a complaint in RERA. We won the case against Bhoomi and, they were ordered to pay Full Refund along with RERA rate of interest. Seeing this another group of 7 buyers came forward to file their complaints. Strongly recommend that all Acropolis flat buyers should take united action for the delays and financial losses caused due to builders failure to keep promises and refund monies on time. Riyaz.
