Voterid, UID, Electoral list ?
Q: Few questions if anybody can help to provide some more information/updates. 1. Applied for UID couple of months back but cards have not yet come for any applicant out of three. On website, status shows as "aadhar id is under generation" for 2 applications, while for 3rd, id is created and I have received from web. http://resident.uidai.net.in/check-aadhaar-status 2. Applied for voterid more than 3-4 months back but nothing received so far. Plan to apply again through web. Which of the below website should be used? http://eci-citizenservices.nic.in/ http://www.voterreg.kar.nic.in What should be my selection for Purva Panorama, Kalena Agrahara, BG Road address - District -? (Bangalore or Bangalore Rural) AC (Assembly Constituency) - ? Ward No/Name - ? (Gottigere, Arakere) 3. I heard that to vote, it is not enough to have vote-id card but name should be added into electoral roll/list of local ward. We have to apply for that separately in local ward/department. Any idea?
