A khata transfer charges for registration
Q: We have booked under construction flat at Kadugodi. For registration , the builder is asking for registration fees and A khata transfer charges of 25k. As per my understanding , A khata transfer can only be done after getting Occupancy certificate. Should we pay A khata transfer charges to builder for registration ?

Latest Answer: Khata certificate is required either to register a new property or to transfer any property. You can apply for Registration, transfer or modification of khata in Assistant revenue officer for the sub-division. The fee for Khata transfer is 2 % fee of the stamp duty paid for registration.

guidance value at kadugodi
Q: had booked an appartment at belathur,kadugodi at Dec ,2012. What is the guidance value in this area ? Builder is quoting 2470 per sqft. My friend has done his agreement lastweek for 1750 per sqft near electronic city. Does guidance value change based on area ?

Latest Answer: Hello Teena, Yes guidance value differs from locality to locality. The guidance value for an apartment or flat in Kadugodi ranges from Rs 1280 to Rs 2444. Guideline value helps to determine the associated costs regarding the property registration such as such stamp duty fees, registration fee etc. Any property in Kadugodi has to be registered in Bidarahalli sub registrar office (SRO).
