Q: A layout of 22 plots is made by the owner on DC converted plot and has no other approval. Is it legally safe to buy DC converted land WITHOUT BDA /Biaapa approval. Can I get the approval myself for my individual plot after purchasing the same

A DC converted land is safe to use as residential property...
What is the difference between DC converted and BIAAPA approved residential plot if the DC converted plot itself can be used for residential purpose

Q: It is learnt that the eight Urban local bodies (CMCs) in Bangalore Urban District have stopped issuing khatas in Form-MAR 19 from the year 2003 onwards. It may please be clarified whether the CMCs in other districts are issuing khatas at present in Form-19 or not.

Hi Raghu, If your property comes under BBMP, you can apply for Khata by clicking on the link: http://bbmp.gov.in/khata. But if your property comes under urban then you have to take Khata from Panchayat
Thanx for the reply. The property comes under the Doddaballapur CMC limits. Can the CMC issue khata in Form-19 now.
