Demerits of buying a PG Property: The authority has decided to make paying guest accommodations pay property tax at commercial rates instead of residential rates. This means a steep increase, because the property tax for commercial property is double the rate of residential property.

Best areas in Bangalore to buy PG properties are Koramangala, Madiwala, BTM Layout, Marathahalli and KR Puram. In these locality PG business is flourishing
