Stamp Duty and Registration charges in Noida
Q: What is Basis of calculation of Stamp Duty and Registration Charge to be paid for registration of Flat in Noida. Is it affected by current Circle Rate or is it % of Sale Deed signed while Buying the Flat.

Dear Mr. Ravi, for example, On 15th May'15 NGT issue resolved and I got possession of my flat on 15th June'15 having a flat in builder society at Sec-74 and BSP of my flat of 1000 sq ft @ 3000/- is Rs. 30.00 Lacs. In that case registry will be done as per new circular of UP Govt i.e 5% of booking cost which is equal to 1.5 Lacs or it will be calculated on current circle rate Rs. 40,000/- per sq mtr of Sec 74.
