Q: The Lake District Project is delayed beyond comprehension. We have booked a 2BHK Flat in Bldg C4 in Jan 2011 which is a part of the Phase1. As per the agreement the Apt should have been handed over by Dec 2012 considering all the grace periods of more than 6 months. The building has only reached 6th floor out of the 12. How many are such agreived parties? Can we join together and issue a notice to the builder?
My comments to replies
I also recently spoke to them and they said that the possession will be given in 45 days, this is after I was communicated on email that they will hand over the apartment for fit-out by May 15. When asked if that is the real possession they mentioned that the complete possession with all the permissions will be handed over after 6 months, and going by how it is now, it doesn't look like the possession will be given in 2014. What is the legal course, I think there are enough members here to form a group and take combined action.
Friends - I Also have Flat in Phase 1 - phase 2 building. Is there a possibility that we all con come together and start some action. To start with , we all can meet builder together and generate some pressure. We can plan the legal action also. Please let me know. Dheeraj Wal , A2 Flat owner
