Hi! As per my view the existing structures greatly contribute to increasing global warming. So it has become necessary to go eco-friendly in architectural sector also. Green buildings are environment friendly and are built using green materials. Commercial green building designs are necessary as they provide benefits like energy efficiency, natural resources conservation, less wastage generation and providing healthier spaces for employees. In fact many architects and builders have already started going green by building eco-friendly buildings. In India many multinational companies too have turned green to save the environment and their employees from harmful effects. Green roofing, Passive homes, are some of the technologies used to turn structure green. Here is more on energy efficient building designs: http://www.ashwinarchitects.com/energy-efficient-commercial-building-design-2Hi!
