Hey Abhishek and Vinu, I heard about this home in 2011. Futuristic homes means high technology or natural eco home with compact in size and takes lesser space. It looks like a house coming from an alien far away planet but it is possible given the budget. Some of the features of futuristic homes include use of renewable energy sources like solar panels, wind power, heat pumps and rooftop swamp coolers.
Hey Bharat, You're absolutely right! These futuristic homes posses the ability to meet India's shortage as well. Given the population and rising real estate prices, buying a house is getting expensive. The idea to start this in the rural areas, provides us the ability to develop the standardized homes, which means low cost, renewable energy, which makes them sustainable and net-metering, which means they homes could generate excess power which could be sold back to the grid and they'd make earnings.
