Q: hi I have a residential Land in Ghaziabad with area 255sq.yard, Jointly registered with my father. how can i get my share registered on my name only

Hi Manu!! If your father transfers the property to your name by a GIFT DEED, then it is possible that you can have absolute ownership. Please consult a lawyer in person as you have to go through the sale deed which gave ownership to your father, and also draft the GIFT DEED thoroughly..

No, you can't registered your part of share in absence of your father's knowledge into your name until or unless he is ready to transferred it to your name or make a gift deed for you that part of share.

Hi Manu, There is only one way if your father agree to execute gift deed of your parts of share in your favor. It has to be stamped and duly registered.
