Q: HI, I have bought a property where there are few shops. The rent bill for the shop is in the name of eithet the present tenats father or father - law or grandfather and all have been decesed. But the ld landlord has been cutting the rent bill in the names of the deceased. Now since i have bought the property what are me legal options. i have already sent them 3 notice for appearing with documents. All have just come and had verbal talk but have presented no documents.

Latest Answer: Hi, I think your landlord is saving tax showing the shops in the deceased persons name. If the property is in his name then he has to pay commercial taxes which currently he is not paying.

Q: The tenant is not staying in the premises but has inducded others, and they too are not paying neare my legal action against these occupiers, can i evict them then how ?

Latest Answer: Hi, Send your tenant an Eviction Ramification Notice. If the cure time in your eviction notice expires and the tenant has not paid, you must be ready to go forward with a court eviction. If you are unfamiliar with the process of evicting a tenant, I highly recommend you use a lawyer who is experienced in landlord tenant eviction cases.
