query regarding exemption of stamp duty
Q: Respected Sir With due respect, I want to ask a query that When unmarried lady is transferring property(urban/rural residential) to her sister's daughter. Can exemption from stamp duty and registration fee be claimed here? If yes, Kindly send the supporting documents at akalharpreet@gmail.com. Related to punjab state. Kindly reply as soon as possible. Thanks

Dear Sir/Mam Thanks for the reply. I already explored the punjab revenue website and also consulted some experts and also want to put forward this crucial knowledge in front of you that their is no stamp duty in the case aforementioned above. Kindly refer to the notification S.O. 20/C.A.211899/S.9/2007, dated the 27th April, 2007.Dear Sir/Mam Thanks for the reply. also refer the notification S.O.66/C.A.2/1899/S.9/2001 and S.O.1/C.A.2/1899/S.9/2004.
