I made rental agreement with owner but that is expired after 11 months. After that I am paying same rent.
Q: Same rent paying after mutual agreement with owner. But suddenly he demanded 5% arears of all previous years and denying mutual agreement. Kindly advise.

Hi, There is no such rule that the rent will increase automatically after the agreement expires. This can only happen if the owner has mentioned this clause in the lease agreement.
