Q: Hello people, This is regarding tanker water in and around SLS sunflower area. I have a friend who stays in Bellandur area and he was saying yesterday how his wife takes bath ONLY in KENT filtered water(similar to Aqua guard). he says the ground water is depleted. and the tanker water is very HARD, and not good for anything. taking bath in this hard water results in hair fall and other issues. This set me to thinking that we will also run into the same issue within a year, when we will run out of bore well water. this could only happen quicker if prestige and other apartments come in the vicinity sooner. the reason i am asking this is if this is an issue for staying here, i might as well just rent it out. i know this is a problem in a lot of areas in BLR. but atleast some areas still has softER ground water. am a bit confused. what do you guys think ? or what have you planned. Let me know. Regards, Prashanth

Latest Answer: Rainwater Harvesting at a massive scale is the only solution. Communities and builders have to overlook the short-term costs and deploy RWH solutions in all constructions, both old and new, without waiting for government orders. Until then, the water mafia will have a field day
