Q: Hello, my lawyer has made a few changes in Draft Sales Agreement prepared by builder. Builder is insisting that no customization of Sales Agreement. I am in a fix... Advise please...

Latest Answer: Hi, One of my friends became a victim after signing the sale deed with a builder blindly. You have every right to take the sale agreement/deed from the builder and get them reviewed by a good lawyer. I took a legal opinion before registering the flat I wanted to purchase. . The lawyer did an excellent job and pointed out a few corrections which I would have surely missed. These changes were incorporated in the registered sale deed. Regards, Hari

Q: When going for a landlord's apartment, should the landlord be part of the agreement with the customer? Landlord and builder hasn't registered a sharing agreement, but have written this on a Rs.200 stamp paper. Per my lawyer, the sharing agreement between land owners and the Developer is executed only on a mere Rs.200/- stamp paper and is NOT registered. Though registration of this document is desirable, if the parties can swear to a affidavit as per draft enclosed the same may be accepted.

Latest Answer: It is better to include the landlord in a written agreement that how much portion of land he is going to give you so that in future there should not be any problem.
