Q: I had gone to site on Sunday 22/07/12 at 11 am. About 10 workers are working on Exotica site Bulding 3, and few about 15 on site building 4. The plastering work is undergoing at SRA site and Tile work is going at Phase I Premier Residence . You can visit and see yourself. The work is slow and Mr Vinay is right, this will take another 2-4 years to complete Phase II.

Q: I have booked a under construction flat in central suburbs in Mumbai and registered the agreement. The builder has now demanded that 5% VAT is payable on agreement value or market value, whichever is higher on agreements registered between 20th June 2006 and 31st March, 2010. Can any one throw some light and authenticate whether this is really payable. What about agreements registered subsequent to 1st April 2010, is VAT chargeable. Regards, James G

Q: Hi there, I have booked a flat in Mahagun Mywoods a few days back when NCR plan gave green signal to Noida Authority. But some dark clouds again came on Noida Extension. Now my query is I have taken flexi-plan and done 10% payment to builder. In flexi plan is was written that 5% I need to pay within 30 days of booking. And then 30% within 45 days. I want to know that this 30% would only be demanded by builder when project becomes bankable or not. Please confirm. Thanks in advance. Cheers!!!
