I have booked one 2 bhk flat in pre launch. Now the builder is demanding service tax on the advance payment. My question is if the construction is not yet started then how come they ask for service tax now. It should be paid only construction starts or atleast when all the documents are in place

But I am not sure how this scheme is been planned? when will be the possession? when shall the builder receive the CC for construction?I have done inquiry regarding possession and i m receiving different dates some say 2015 some say 2017.Can anybody help me in explaining how good is this property ??/ is it worth to invest in this project.
