Yes, it is mandatory to take legal permission from the local authority with NOC. This comes under The West Bengal Municipal (Building) Rules, 2007. So consult with legal expert he will file a mandatory document in this regards.

I want a copy of revised sanction plan but builder refuse to give the copy and told come and see the copy at their office. But they will not give the copy. As a buyer I have a no right to get it ?
Hi Ranjit, It is better, you can directly go to the builder's office and see the revised sanction plan and understand it carefully from builder person. If you have any doubt then you can take a copy of the sanction plan from the builder it is your right to ask for certified copies of sanction plan.
