There is a pending file in CMO (GOM) regarding Environmental permission which may get cleared from the state and centre before the change of government in Delhi.

Hello Everyone I am Pravir and I have one of the flats as well. Has any group been formed to deal with this nuisance? What about our funds being stuck with the developers and also what about the cost of funds? We must legally fight it out. I have had the developers contacting all deemed owners to sign a contracts rescinding the earlier contract of sale and getting into a new one. Which is grossly unfair. I agree.. Many have lost both their home and invested hard earned money. Repeated pleas have been sent to CM and Minister of Environment & Forest, to approve clearance of the project has fallen but no update till date. There seems to be loopholes in the process between the state, BMC and MOEF.

After the state forest department demarcated private land in the area as forest zone in 2005, many building constructions were stalled on which many citizens had invested money.. The high court subsequently ordered a stay on all constructions that were taken up on the acquired forest land, which remains effective till date.

The subject is now being heard in the Supreme Court. So wait, before you lose all hope.
