Hi folks,
There are some changes in Stamp Duty on ancestral property in Rajasthan. On 8th March, 2016, In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act. 1998 (Act No. 14 of 1999) and in suppression of this department's notification number F.4(14)FD/Tax Div.l98-S2 dated 09.07.1998, the State Government being of the opinion that it is expedient in public interest so to do, hereby orders that the stamp duty chargeable on the instrument of partition of ancestral property shall be reduced and charged at the rate of 1.5% of the market value of the separated share or shares of the property.Hi folks,

hi, I have booked flat in Amrapali verona heights in 2014. In the flat buyer agreement there is no possession date mentioned and the construction speed is very slow. Can you suggest if I should cancel flat and invest my hard earned money in some good ready to move property?

You should check the paper before registration. Don't go for cancellation as you have to bear a huge loss. Try to speak to the builder and know the ground reality.Hi,

i invested in buddha circuit studio phase 2 in 2013 and already give 10 lac , since last 3 years there is no movement , even not started , invester clinic people made me fool , i am sure many others also invetsed there ? what we should do now ? do we have any group to make legal case against jaypee for same or what should i do ? when i make call to them after 3 years , some one told that they can also refund money with in 6 months . does any one has already received money with intererst from them ?

I agree with you. You should come together with some other owners of this project and take legal consultation on this matter because if you go directly to the builder they simply keep making you fool by providing fake assurances. So, you will have to take the advice of a legal expert in this matter and file a case in the consumer court for compensation.Hi Monica,

Yes, you can avail an interest rate subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Scheme if your annual income is above Rs. 6 lakh and up to Rs. 18 lakh per year. If eligible for the interest subsidy, you have to apply with your lenders for availing the benefit. To be able to do that, you should not own a house in your name. An interest subsidy scheme is also know as Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna. There are some eligibility Criteria for availing this facilities, 1) The beneficiary family should not own a pucca house in his or her or in the name of any member of his or her family in any part of India. 2) The beneficiary family should not have availed of central assistance under any housing scheme from Government of India or any benefit under any scheme in PMAY. 3) In case of married couple, either of the spouse or both together in joint ownership will be eligible for a single subsidy.
The beneficiary family will comprise husband, wife and unmarried children.
