Hi, I am considering to invest in Raheja Revanta project, in a 2 BHK (1621 sqft) appartment. The option available is only ground floor with an additional 400sqft of private garden. The BSP being quoted is 8075 per sqft.
Is this a fair price given the project was launched at a much lower price?
If yes, what is the expected return in next 3-5 years?

I want to buy a property at Kolkata ( a residential flat) jointly with my son almost with 50 % contribution from each of us. My initial payment will be by breaking my bank fixed deposits and the balance payment from the sale proceeds of my property (flat) for which seller-buyer agreement has been done.
My question is if my payment for the new property is more that what I receive from selling my present property (more than seven years old), then whether I can avail the Capital Gain Tax exemption u/s 54, even if the new property will be purchased jointly by me and my son.

I want to rent out 3 BHK villa a gated community with all amenities and very well maintained lush green surroundings around 2000 sqft, covered car parks in Perumbakkam . I would like to know what is ongoing rent per sq ft for these villas?

Thanks Ajit for sharing your view point. The rental market along with OMR is really booming. 2 BHK which was available for rs 12000 to 15000 an year ago today available for anywhere between rs 15000 to 18000. An average rent here today are ranging between rs 14 to 19 per sq ft.
