This has been done to accommodate small developers and land owners who want to build housing schemes under Samajwadi Awas Yojna. As per the new order, the minimum plot area must be 2.5 acres.

Assuming that, construction had been finished on these plots,the house tax and the water tax from these plots could have been charges into cleanliness of city. Authorities have been requested to make sure that all plot owners pass their building plans with the Ghazibad Development Authority within 60 days. Assuming construction does not begin soon on the plots for which building plans have as of now been passed, we will be compelled to take extreme measures.

Latest Answer: Residential property in Alambagh is a bad idea as suggested by the above member. It is an outright commercial area and unless you have a commercial establishment nearby and cannot travel due to some issues, I would suggest you to stay away from Alambagh. You can however look at Chowki which is also a commercial hub but it offers a mixture of residential and commercial establishments. The prices in Chowki as of today offer value for money deals and I expect the prices to increase over a period of time say between 7 to 10 years. Think medium to long term for any investment in parts of old Lucknow or close by areas.
Latest Answer: You are right guys. Though loans are available, many buyers cannot afford to borrow. There should be some change in system of getting home loans for affordable projects. It has to be made easy for low-income people.
