As per my opinion you should go to the BSNL Exchange office and apply for telephone connection in Annai Aishwaryam Grand and as well as broadband connection. Other person cannot help out this matter and don’t depend with anyone. For taking BSNL connect you need to submit your official document. So better you should go the office and ask how to apply for the broadband connection and I am sure they will help out about this issue. Q: I was here not long ago looking at a 3 bedroom apartment and the manager of this place wanted me to pay him a months rent as commission!!, i think this is ridiculous..his explanation was that he will take care of our issues after we move in!! and now for the worst part, he was not giving us the apartment owners number so that I could talk to him about the commission that i'm supposed to pay him. Is this normal procedure to rent this apartment complex?

Q: I have booked a under construction flat in central suburbs in Mumbai and registered the agreement. The builder has now demanded that 5% VAT is payable on agreement value or market value, whichever is higher on agreements registered between 20th June 2006 and 31st March, 2010. Can any one throw some light and authenticate whether this is really payable. What about agreements registered subsequent to 1st April 2010, is VAT chargeable. Regards, James G

VAT and Service tax of the agreement value are paid by builders. So, you would not have to go through the hassle of paying it.
