Position of rooms: Before buying any apartment check whether the shape of the apartment is regular rectangular or not. Be sure that all the rooms has four walls or corners. On the other hand master bedroom should be in the Southwest corner in the apartment. Make sure that the position of the kitchen should be in southeast direction. Also, the position of the living room is located at east side of the apartment. 2. Direction of site: Direction of the building or site is also an important factor for choosing Vastu-friendly apartments, like entrance gate direction of the building.

To make your home vaastu-compliant, do following check list The main entrance to a house is an active area and believed to allow life energy to enter into the premises which is further known as Pranain Vaastu. Life flows into a home from the main entrance maximise the positive flow by having the main door in the North-East, East or North direction.
Absolutely agree with you but I have some more point to add in your check list i.e 1. The perfect shape for rooms as per vaastu is the square, symbolizing a strong and stable unit, and protecting it from external influences. 2. Agni symbolizes to the source of heat in Vaastu that resides in the South East, so the kitchen ought to be located in this corner for maximum benefit. 3. Signifying calmness and quietude, the South West is ideal for the master bedroom. 4. The North Eastern corner is reserved for the prayer room as this direction is the source of power. Living Room or the dining room is best in East, North & North-east directions.

Rentals as well as the prices of flats and even plots here have been much less than those in the satellite towns of Panchkula as well as Mohali. Hi, This will be the testing time for all the schemes that govt. have launched in the last 2 yrs. Success of these flagship programmes will depend on how states implement the work on the ground. Any fund crisis can have an opposite impact. According to government sources only Rs 4000 crore is likely to be earmarked for the smart-city project as against its requirement of around Rs 14000 crore. But definitely it will create employment opportunities and infra development in the city.
Yes, Smart City project in Chandigarh will open path for new employment opportunities, infrastructure development, residential & commercial development in the city of Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Amritsar. Soon, many developers will com up with lot's of residential and commercial project in those localities which will definitely boost the real estate projects in Punjab. People will start buying their new house and shops within those localities.
