I think one of the main attractions of this area was the ferry service, unfortunately it had to be shut down Actually this ferry service started sometime in 2012 and used to transport hundreds of people from Nettoor and Thevara and was extremely useful. What happened was the Vigilance and Anti-corruption Bureau (VACB) had carried out a surprise inspection, which led them to a number of houses which were flouting regulations. The localities covered under the raid are Aluva, Angamaly, Kalamassery, Kothamangalam, Muvattupuzha, North Paravoor, Maradu, Perumbavoor, Thrikkakara and Tripunithura. What they did was, just inspect random buildings from each district. Actually this project was proposed almost 10 years ago. It has taken the authorities THAT long to finally implement it. The plan is to basically stretch this 12m wide road to a minimum of 22m. Yes, that's the only problem. In the morning only 2 buses run between these two place - one at 7.20 and the other at 7.45 am. Ive heard that the first bus will leave Nedumbassery at 2.30am! any you can reach Guruvayur in just 2 hours! Location wise too it seems to be well connected. Many major places in Kochi are located at 5km radius from the property. I just got this information from google. Yeah dont worry man. The dumping happens in a more isolated part of the locality, there are no residential places around. There's an upcoming project in edakochi by the public works department. They want to construct a bridge that will connect edakochi to Willingdon Island, which is apparently going to be 640 metres long. This will bring west Kochi closer to the mainland. yaa, this place is not a big town area. but, the price of the land there is quite high there because of proximity to the city. You can see that the avg price of the land there was 3468 rupees per square feet for flat in the 3rd Quarter of 2013. Hey, SFS Boulevard is still under construction actually. It will open for possession only from december 2016. They are undertaken by the SFS homes. The project has totally 11 floors. that's it. Moreover, it provides 3 bhk as well as 4 bhk apartment.
Hey, they have all types of facilities and amenities, guys, its awsome no? they provide recreational facilities, intercom facilities, rainwater harvesting facilities, community hall facilities, lift as well as a sewage treatment plant. hiii there, i have heard about this project from one friend of mine. I came to know from him that they are providing 2 bhk only. The built up area is from 1200 square feet. The price I think will be around 30 lakhs for this.
oh...i thinks it a very reasonable price only. Especially, they are providing some good facilities like fully AC office and meeting room, covered swimming pool on 1st floor with separate changing rooms for ladies and gents, a fully equipped unisex gymnasium, 2 fully furnished guest house, etc.

yeah, the facilities are good here. this project is actually undertaken by the Anvita Builders Pvt. ltd. You can get bank loans very easily for this project as they have bank approvals from some leading banks like HDFC bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank etc.

Hey, some good news for you, Kerala State Water Transport Department (KSWTD) will soon launch a boat service between the Ernakulam main jetty and Vaikom. The service, which aims at tapping both the passenger and tourist traffic, will be operated with a high-speed passenger ferry boat.
HI, i would like to add that the service, which starts from Ernakulam, will call at the boat landing stations at Thevara, Perumbalam and Chemmanakari before reaching Vaikom and offer an alternative route to the commuters from the interiors to the city

Both the 1 bhk and 3 bhk apartments come in just one standard size each. For the 1 bhk it is 679 square feet and for the 3 bhk it is 1512 square feet. But the 2 bhks are available in different built-up area sizes.
Yeah the 2 bhks are available in 2 area sizes, one is 962 sq ft and the other is 1255 sq ft. But the thing is that the price rate for all these apartments, 1, 2, and 3 bhks, is the same - Rs 3900 per square foot.

so, the government felt the need for a master plan..that's good. Over the years, the city was developing and expanding. But there was no clear planning to identify the new areas that are developed. In my opinion, many parts of Kochi are developed. But, you can also see that the western side of Kochi is still underdeveloped. One situation is that if you take the loan for the purpose of repair or renewal or reconstruction then there wont be any tax deduction for interest paid before completion. i dont think, the night patrolling is any adequate. Police always complain about the manpower shortage for tackling all these problems. There has also been an increase in the bike thefts and chain snatching in the city. Hey, For your information, I want to say some general information about the area of Koothattukulam. The area of Koothattukulam is a good town area which is near to Muvattupuzha. It is in the south east corner of Ernakulam District actually. I think Kochi city is at a distance of 50 kilometres from here.

I can say some general things about the area of Koovappady as it is a nearby area to Aimury where I stayed previously. Many people in the Koovappady region are into farming, and many have their own fields. Lots of greenery can be seen in this area. It is very near to the Periyar river and there are some marshy lands towards the periyar side. Connectivity to this region is quite good in my opinion. The Kakkanad Pallikkara road passes through the centre of the locality. This road joins the Chithrapuzha Ponjassery Road in this locality itself. The public and private bus service to this place is also quite good in my opinion.

Alfiya Nagar's connectivity is good. For railway connectivity, I think that the nearest major station is the Ernakulam Junction South Railway station which is at a distance of 12 km from here. Even you can find the Edappally railway station within 5 km radius of the locality, but many passenger trains do not have stops here. I dont think that there are many plots available in this small locality. The locality is mostly saturated. For buying plots, maybe you can find a few residential plots of 5 or 7 cents available here. Kalappurackal is a very good residential area in Kakkanad, Kochi. For the apartments the price is around Rs. 3011 per square feet to Rs. 4164 per square feet. This quarter of this year has seen some 4 percent decline in the price of apartments, so this is a good time to buy the property here.

Hi,..I think that the Surabhi Nagar locality is a good residential area and it also has a good connectivity to the railway station also. So, for travelling via train to some distant places is not that big deal from here. The Ernakulam Junction South Railway station is just 13 km or so away from here. You can reach there easily in half an hour.
How about the connectivity via flights and the connectivity to the airport? Is Surabhi Nagar good for that? I am not well aware of any area in Kochi and need some detailed info on this. Please share.

For apartments, I came to know that the price is around Rs. 3,369 rupees per square feet. The price can also go up to rs. 4500 also in some places especially near to the highways.

I think that Ambili Nagar is a very sought after residential area in kochi. It is near to Kattakakom town. Normally the price of the apartment is starts from Rs. 3369 per square feet to Rs. 3568 per square feet. This is on an average, but I think some apartments like Royal Enclave West are charging at around Rs. 4000 per square feet.

I think that the court has said about the acquisition that the amount received by the property owners will be without prejudice to the compensation payable under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Re-Settlement Act, 2013. I think that the project's rough draft has to be drafted. Hi, I think that there was a very long waiting for the Kottekanal road to open for the traffic. There is a good news that after this long 25 years of waiting, the Kottekanal road has been opened for the traffic.

You know th Devankulangara junction is a point where Elamakkara road joins Edappally Raghavan Pillai Road. Hello, there is some strong action being taken by the NHAI along with the police. They are on a joint drive, and are destroying buildings and hoarding that have been encroaching illegally. Yeah..this is a serious problem. You should watch out for contamination of ice and water. I think this is because of the temperature problem. As the problem is due to temperature, there should be efforts from the government to tackle the problem.
Oh..actually, what is the present condition? Is there any reported cases? Can I know more about this?
