The immediate need was to ask SWR provide stoppages for more trains at Baiyyappanahalli, since some trains do not go beyond the Cantonment Station. The next step is to provide amenities to the passenger at Baiyyappanhalli and construction of a ramp to provide connectivity between the railway and metro stations. Ashoka Biogreen Private Limited has been assigned with the responsibility of setting up the plant and they will have the responsibility of maintaining the plant for three years. BBMP is planning to tie up with hotels in the surrounding areas to supply gas generated from the plant. But they are yet to discuss about this with the hotels. GM Palya is a nice locality and very close to the BEML hospital, BEML quarters and Sishya Public School. It is a very calm locality located 1 km from the main road but has all the required amenities.
