See the best thing about this locality is that its close to the ORR. Because of the large scale developments on the ORR, there have been price appreciations in Vijayanagar extension as well. A 240 yard land in Vijayanagar extn that used to cost Rs 1.5 lakh 5 years ago, now fetches close to 5 lakh rs on the market. Even agricultural land is 10 times more expensive in this area.See the best thing about this locality is that its close to the ORR. This locality has this lake okay,, The Kukkarahalli lake. It used to be alnadmark but slowly now it has turned into basically a dumping ground for all the garbage in the locality. Yeah, this will help the investments a lot. if i talk from my perspective, the connectivity development should not just be confined to bangalore and Mysore alone. There should be a greater connectivity to other major cities like Mumbai, chennai, hyderabad, Coimbatore as well as Kochi from here. They proposed this measure to open the facility for the wider bodied aircrafts. i don't think it is a feasible option. now, the short-haul flights are not going good in Mysore airport. That is why 2 private operators withdrew from the service here. now only the chartered flights are landing here, and not the commercial services.see, there are also proposals from the state government to build a tunnel for extending the runway. definitely, i also know about some other similar cases. One is along the Mysore-Bannur Road and the other one along Mysore-H.D. Kote road. Here, the plots development and selling is very active in this area. but, these are not sold in a ready-to-build state. but, yes, these are great for long term investments and all. definitely, i also know about some other similar cases. Each apartment also has a balcony and a bathroom attached to each bedroom. Power supply is 24 hrs because of the backup generator. Also car parking facilities are there. I have a bit of info about the apartment units. They are regular 2 and 3 bhk flats, averaging around 1100 sq ft built up area. Thats quite standard apartment size, also the project locality is close to Vijayanagar, which is an established residential locality of Mysore. So this will be a safe investment, acc to me. Ok so basically this place is on the outskirts, and so hasnt really seen much developments. Even the schooling structure is not so well-defined, as there are hardly any schools here. Doora is a very good locality in Mysore. You know, it is one of the most sought after areas in mysore. You can see that the areas of Mandi Mohalla, Gayathripuram, Jyothi Nagar, Chamundi Vihar Layout, Karanji Layout, Halladakeri, Chamrajpura etc are some of the nearby localities of Doora. From this you could have got an idea that it is an expensive area of mysore.
Yeah..This area also has very good connectivity also. See...The Bangalore Nilgiri Road passes through the western part of the town. The Sawday roads as well as Mahadevapura road pass through the northern side. The Hyderali Road passes through the eastern side. You can also see that the Bannur road intersects the Bangalore Nilgiri highway in this region.

The commercial infrastructure of this locality is quite decent in my opinion. Hey the place that you are asking about is way outside the perimeter of the city, in the outskirts. Basically the north western outskirts of mysore. But still you need not worry much, because the Hunsur Road passes right through this place, so thats going to be your major connector road, if you do decide to move here. Infrastructure around the Mysore Road is quite good. Roads here are well tarred, It also has good sewage connection. Apart from that there is no real problems with water supply.
