This area is good in terms of connectivity too, it is close to the very close to the airport too, only 5 kms away. and the railway station is only 8 km away. I think first when this high power line came into existence, the civic body had lodged a complaint against it with district administration, based on which an order was issued to stop the work. hey, i think it is because the land was classified as industrial land. but the market price that is quoted is the prevailing commercial rate. So this is the disparity there. you can't sell an industrial land at commercial rate! there is no reason why the Employees Union on Hukumchand Mill is challenging the auction because of this. Ok so there arent any major brand names or big supermarkets in this area btw. But enough small shops area there, and you can get pretty much all that you need for daily household purposes around here. And if you dont, then you can easily venture into the city centre easily. Usually, you know, it takes more than an hour for gas agency representative to reach the spot after any gas leakage complaint is raised by residents.
