Currently, this bill has been referred by Rajya Sabha to a select committee on May 6 for its examination with instruction to submit its report by the last day of the first week of the current monsoon session. And it is expected that the 21-member committee headed by BJP member Anil Madhav Dave is likely to submit the report this week

The government has proposed more number of land surveyors in the state with effect from May 2014, however, the move will manifold the survey cost by two to eightfold. According to the revenue department officials, the ascending revision of the fee has been in accordance with demand prevailing for licensed surveyors. Paying the revised fee may not be a problem for a farmer, however, for those who are categorized under the below poverty level group putting up with the increased survey cost will definitely take a toll on their finances.

According to market reports, the absorption of residential units in major metros like Pune, Mumbai and Delhi-NCR took a beating in Q1, Q2, Q3 of 2013. However, the year 2014 is likely to witness an increase in absorption of residential units post general elections and will phase out the growing inventory holding of the developers.

It seems eastern areas are witnessing demand in the mid segment housing. What is the price range?
The price range for such homes is about Rs 3,000-5,500 per sq ft. People are turning towards East Bangalore as it is emerging as the new real estate haven.

East Bangalore has became the preferred destination for many people in the IT and ITeS sectors. Many builders and developers has seen benefits of launching projects in areas where communication to work place is hassle free for the techies. Furthermore, infrastructure projects like the Peripheral Ring Road connecting Whitefield, Electronic City and Yelahanka in the pipeline. The property market is expected to remain stable, if not witness a boom in the coming months.
According to the report by JLL, property prices in localities like Indiranagar, Old Madras Road, Whitefield, Electronic City have seen an appreciation in the rental value at the time when the market was down in other cities. Capital values continue to remain in the range of `5,000-6,000/sq ft in areas like Old Madras Road.

First of all they are planning to have a design competition for the T-2 building. The Kempegowda International Airport will begin civil works on both by the end of this year.

I do not think there is any need for the new runway. The airport already that the capacity to handle 1,70,000 passenger. No point...
Yet final decision has net been taken, they final decision will come by the end of this year and full-fledged work will start in the last quarter of this year. Now the passenger traffic is 1,20,000 and it is expected that passenger traffic may cross 20 million, then the ATM requirement will be roughly 3,50,000. The new runway and terminal will be able to accommodate that

I have not invested in this project but I am thinking of buying an apartment for myself. I have done some market survey. Tghe project is in pre launch stage and next month they will launch the project. The price they are quoting is Rs 4250 and all the approvals are under process.

Vikram Structures is a good developer in Bangalore and till date they have completed around nine projects in Bangalore. The project is around 10 kms from Hebbal Flyover, 2kms from Touche Golf Course, 7.2 kms from Manyata Tech Park and 7.5 kms from Columbia Asia.

@Janak, they can arrange a home loan from DHFL and the project has been approved by DTCP. The current rate per sqft going on in this project is Rs 550. The price of the plots starts from Rs 6.60 lakhs.

Hi Tej, I have read the news in some newspaper. MUDA will venture into project and will have apartments of 20x30, 30x40 and 40x60 measurements. The project will be taken up once the site owners come forward with their willingness. The project will have all requirements with all necessary peripheral infrastructure including roads, parks, drainage, UGD and other amenities.
You are absolutely right @Krupa. Each project should have at least 10 acres of land, wherein apartment will be coming up only in 55 cents and remaining portion will be used for other infrastructure. Once they identify a suitable land within MUDA's jurisdiction, then the work will be commenced.

The price of a 2 bhk apartment will cost you around Rs 58 lakhs excluding registration and service tax. The project has been approved by BBMP, A Khata and you can avail home loan from any of the banks.

B-khata is just a register maintained by the BBMP to collect taxes from the revenue property holders. Well Rubiya....before giving reply to this question, i would like to express my feelings for this popular festival. Onam, the biggest and most popular harvest festival in India. It is the most superb festival celebrated by the people of Kerala. On this day, one can see colourful hues of flower patches on the ground in every home, display of mouth-watering dishes and elegant snake boat races. This is a project by BSNL Employees and Citizens House Building Co-Operative Society Ltd so can a general public book a plot here, if yes what are different dimensions available.
I have seen the advertisement in the newspaper yesterday and it was mentioned that the booking is open for general public as well. Different dimensions of plots here are 1200 sqft, 1500sqft, 2400 sqft, 4000sqft, and 12,000sqft.

12,000 sqft is a commercial plot... the project offers both residential and commercial plots. It is a BIAAPA approved project. Downpayment differents from what size of plot you are looking for.

Yes, Saibya Structures Pvt. Ltd. are new to Bangalore. So it is not possible to ascertain their track record. Both their projects SAIBYA SENARY and SAIBYA STERLING are their first ventures and delayed by more than a year. They have a fantastic website but so far as purchasers are concerned that is not enough. There are several negative comments about the builder and its both project. So, buyers should do all their due diligence before booking their homes in it. Thanks
@Prag, Their performance should be quite good. But in comparison to other reputed builder, i think they have done their part of the promise. A and last but not the least they should be able to provide Occupancy Certificates on completion (OC). OCs are not provided by a good majority of 2nd tier and lower tier builders which results in incomplete ownership.
