Good news for you because the Mysore aiport is only 5 km away from Vijaynagar. Other airports relatively closeby are Calicut airport, Bangalore international airport, and peelamedu airport. Lot of NGO's have protested against this shortness of space and lack of civic facilities. As of right now the sewage drains and water supply lines is built for an independent unit. If 20 to 30 units come up in a place where facilities are built for 2 to 3 units, obviously there will be major issues. Developers in Mysore these days are mainly coming up with construction of self sustaining communities, having bountiful supply of infra facilities. To expand it, so that big planes can be accommodated, is going to require a massive land acquisition project to start off with. I think the authorities were just focussed on the Mysore-Najangud highway too much, and they kind of overlooked this project. That can be the only reason, because the necessary funds were all there. There needs to be a pay and park facility here, to be honest, otherwise this kind of nuisance will continue. But ive also heard that there is some kind of a multi-lot parking space coming up pretty soon at the Town Hall and in front of the Mysore zoo. Because of these shopkeepers who jam the whole space up with their cars, shoppers find it extremely difficult to park their cars around here. This is extremely detrimental to the business, i believe, and in the end the shoppers themselves are going to suffer. MUDA in its master plan is looking to bring the outskirt areas of Mysore closer to Mysore by initating all these developmental changes. There is also famous Lord Shiva temple in Srirampura. Close by to that is the magazine publisher Prajiva Monthly. I think the area is still relatively new. There are a lot of excercise centres in JP nagar. My mom used to visit Mysore style Ashtanga yoga in JP Nagar quite frequently. Also there are many temples like Ganesha temple in this locality. I read in the papers about this project. Multistoreyed means more space. Just that I hope they don't start charging heavy parking rates like how they did in the railway station. Yeah. mainly the Sayyaji Rao Road is being repaired. Another place which is full of potholes is the road connecting RMC Circle to the Highway Circle. really hopeless. I am not too sure about all this. If you are looking for a short term investment please don't look here. The public amenities are far and less. No schools or hospitals within 3 km radius. Yes yes. I read recently in the news. It is called infrastructure stress. For example, when the water supply was planned only for independent row houses, the estimate of water intake for a particular house area was fixed. Oh, the situation is now disappointing for everyone. actually, there was a plan to expand the airport. but now it has been facing a hurdle because the mysore-nanjangud highway is coming in between. if the airport has to be expanded then there will be problems of realigning the highway.
yeah..this wud have been grt..the funds are also allocated by the Airport Authority of India (AAI). but, now what is happening is that the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is planning to go ahead with upgrading NH 212 and making it four-lane. but, if it does not realign the highway, the mysore airport will not be able to expand. The plan was to accommodate wider-bodied aircrafts.

See, the Mysore Urban Development Authority has given the nod for the action plan but excludes the works that are taken up by the Mysore City Corporation. This development plan will be executed by acquiring the land of the farmers. there should have been a sea change actually in the city of mysore after the coming of Siddharamaiah as the chief minister of the state. because he is from mysore itself. As of now there arent that many residential projects here, except for the Lakvinsar Royal. These are all apartments, basically usual 2 or 3bhk units, and being developed by the Lakvinsar group. Yeah, I think its a nice locality to live here. you can see that most part of the city is either agricultural land or barren land. But there is a small residential community near to some link roads connecting the area to the Bogadi road. Most of the property is either individual houses here.
hey, you cannot say that the social infrastructure of the area is that good. there are no good schools in this locality. All you find is some two or three schools in the area SVEI School, SVEI College, and National Public School.

Hello. I have lived in a few of the top tier cities for a considerable amount of time and despite having a good job coulnd't get an investment figured because of the sky high prices. But same is not the case with Mysore. It has very decent prices and they are affordable if you have a decent job. The guidance value is the highest at around Rs. 3800 in the Yadavagiri area.Hello. So this project will have anywhere near 6100 residential sites in total. The areas where it will be in are RT Nagar, Ballahalli and the outer ring road localities. Hello. True I heard the news too. As you already know, Mysore has been a sought after place for many foreigners that are looking for Yoga and other medical services. ALso the city offers a peaceful and hustle free ambiance which makes it a great choice for tourists from local and international arenas.

The Mysore civic body has off late seen a ot of violations of the bylaws and have decided that a facility like online building approval is totally necessary because the city is growing exponentially year after year.Yes. The properties in this locality are priced at a reasonable, and quite frankly cheap Rs 2000 per sq ft. You know, actually, nearly 44 works are under progress and work order has been issued for about 53. Looks like all is going Mysore's way as supposedly this summer the city might not relaly have any problems like it used to in the past and the MCC and the water board will look ino that. Will it? Thanks to satisfactory storage levels in the reservoirs and if pumping stations are free from power outages, the authorities monitoring water supply promise a crisis-free summer until May. Actually, no. The MCC is looking to eliminate landfills by planning to process the garbage at the source. Hegde Silver Spring and Yesh Valley View are two good plotted developments located at Bogadi Road. In Hegde Silver Spring, the price of the plot ranges from Rs 21 lakhs to Rs 43 lakhs approximately. In Yesh Valley View , the price of the plot ranges from Rs 5.40 lakhs to Rs 10.80 lakhs approximately.

Thanks a lot for everyone replying... Actually not sure about real price about the property now.... I just wanted to know about shall I pay Rs 1000/sqft for this property which is 500 meter from St Francis school on bogadi road from mysore city it's 12 km.. Is it worth paying...
The price quoted seems to be okay but if possible you can try to negotiate with the builder :) :D
