I frankly feel that land is not being put to good use in Mysore. Also these areas used to have a lot of second home options for buyers. But then it transformed into prime residential locations. Yeah, I also like this project a lot. It is totally a luxury apartments building. I think the number of apartments in the Lakvinsar Royal is 220. The buildings are surrounded by beautifully landscaped garden areas. What i found interesting about this project is that there are Wi-Fi hotspots within the complex. Now that’s something that you don’t see in every apartment project. There is even a temple, a post office a bank, a milk booth and a bus stand! I guess that’s what you call a real integrated township. Yeah, I also like this project a lot. It is totally a luxury apartments building. So now the deputy commissioners have been instructed to finish the land acquisition process asap, so that the whole thing can be done by March 2015. Actually the problem is that the new Land Acquisition Act is causing some delays in the whole land acquisition process. This is basically a state launched mission to digitally record all property ownership information and provide property ownership cards to everybody in Mysore. Basically this started because there were a number of fraudulent practises going on in Mysore in property registration. I think this is will be a good opportunity for growth in Mysore because for starters it is going to open up a number of job opportunities. The official number of jobs that are expected to be created is actually 10,000. Very soon there will be an influx of employees flocking to the city, who will no doubt be also looking for real estate to either invest in or to live in. So I definitely am going to invest in the market here, before the price rise any higher. I’d advise you to do the same. However, taking into account Bangalore State government past record on infrastructure development, it could be years before this plan actually comes into action. The houses in these areas are constructed so haphazardly. There is no order and they don't follow a straight line. It is a little funny looking. Hey. VV Mohalli is a nice locality in Mysore. It's quite well developed and only now many upcoming projects are picking up in this locality. Acc to the protestors, the MUDA had acquired over 4,000 acres of land in Devanuru, Sathagalli, Hanchya, Yandahalli and surrounding places since 2006 and had promised to pay compensation in a time-bound period and allot sites but had not fulfilled its promise. The main plans here are to upgrade the State Highway 33 especially by linking up Mysore and the Korategere Bavali Road. This itself is around 60 crores. You should definitely start off in Periyapatna now. But the actual benefits will come two three years later when the hotels are up. I heard that there is constant testing of borewell water levels. And if the ground water level is low, they are getting supplemented by the Kabini dam water. You can buy various plots here. 1200 sq ft, 1800 sq ft, 2400 sq ft etc. It is a very reasonable price for 2400 sq ft for example. Rs 18 lakhs. I don't think you can get that price in the city. The area is quite residential in nature. But there is a good blend of commercial areas also here. You can see many shops, hypermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and random shops in this area. Some of the popular ones in this area are D Vasu store, Sushila Provision Store, Bhagirathi steel shop, Varalaxmi Provision store, SMS Mobile shop, etc.
Aparently, there are some good residential localities in this area. Most of the properties here are individual houses as well as villa type apartments in the residential sector. You cannot see many apartment projects here. But, one of the good apartment projects that you can find here is the Sankalp Gardenia.

The prime factor is that despite being a little removed from the heart of the city, its still pretty well connected. The major thanks goes definitely to the state highway no 33 which basically passes through the northern part of this locality. Actually, it is very difficult. There's about 25 people in line for every single site going by the statistics. This is so true. It had happened with a friend of mine. So he liked a property and so bought it but later he found out that several others too claimed ownership of the property. He's now stuck in a legal battle with the sellers. So my suggestion to you is to first get all the documents pertaining to the property you are planning to buy and maybe visit a lawyer to check if it correct or not.This is so true. Mysore Road locality is very close to several key areas of Mysore like Chamundipuram, KC Layout, Kurubarahalli among many others. The roads here are well tarred and has good connectivity through buses. City bus stand is just 3.3 km away while the sub urban bus stand is about 3.9 km away.
Are there good schools nearby? If So? WHat are they?

Yes! The yoga hub that is Mysuru stands to benefit from the Union government's move to exempt yoga institutions from paying income tax, according to the Confederation of Indian Industry, Mysuru. This is a really good news for the real estate market of our city.

Looks like all is going Mysore's way as supposedly this summer the city might not relaly have any problems like it used to in the past and the MCC and the water board will look ino that. Will it? I don't know.

MCC has now estimated to collect at least Rs 100 crore as property tax during 2015-16, and Rs 15 crore as tax from revenue layouts.
