I'm sure this project sn't going to be all fun. I mean sure the road would be widened but at what cost? A lot of other compromises have to be made. The Maharani Commerce College had to even be relocated and this affects the number of good colleges in the vicinity. Lots of traffic congestion will also happen. I don't think the road is big enough to accomodate all the traffic and the problem will only get worse. Especially when work is going on. Hey so Yaddavagiri is a nice locality which has good potential but last year it faced many problems because of the heavy rains. What happened was the rains were very strong and because of that lot of power cuts happened throughout the city including Yaddavgiri. Roads became very bad and next day it was not possible to use the roads at all. Electric poles fell and blocked the roads. It was actually a very dangerous situation! That too Yaddavgiri being an industrial hub and all that. Hey so Yaddavagiri is a nice locality which has good potential but last year it faced many problems because of the heavy rains. What happened was the rains were very strong and because of that lot of power cuts happened throughout the city including Yaddavgiri. Roads became very bad and next day it was not possible to use the roads at all. Electric poles fell and blocked the roads. It was actually a very dangerous situation! That too Yaddavgiri being an industrial hub and all that.

The Bilikere situation seemed to be quite serious a few years ago but as of today, conditions have improved. An article posted last year has said that rainfalls have increased but not drastically. About 15 years ago the lake used to be at its best while receiving huge amounts of rainfall and it was 10 years ago that it slowly started drying up. The water content has not been the same and keeps varying so it's an unreliable source for drawing water although there was a time when every other lake would dry up and yet Bilikere always had water. The Bilikere situation seemed to be quite serious a few years ago but as of today, conditions have improved. An article posted last year has said that rainfalls have increased but not drastically. Okay so RT nagar is quite developed now so don't worry about road connectivity because Mysore has really good public transport. Nearby cities are Mysore which is approx 5 kms away, Shrirangapattana which is approx 13 kms away, Nanjangud is 23 kms away and Mandya is 38 km away. The highways are broad and the roads are good. I don't where the closest airport and railway stations are but the layout has a very good bus system where you can get tickets to any of these nearby cities instantaneously. The Civic authroties are actually shying away from the issue as they clearly have no idea what to do. But the waste accumulation at Vidyaranyapuram is not a pretty site. Open land fills and dumping is never a good method of solid waste disposal. There must be more effective treatment plants and techniques that Mysore has to come up with. For example the waste should be moved to another place because the residents here are getting affected by the unhygienic atmosphere. The Cabinet decided not to give absolute sale deeds of lands to these industries, because earlier most of these companies ended up selling the land that was allotted to them for purely industrial purposes. The government didn’t want more KIADB land going into other states and so they decided that they are just going to lease out the land from now on. That ways it will stay in the ownership of the state and entrepreneurs will be profiting from it as well. Btw, this land is only for new business owners and entrepreneurs. The hill View villas really do look promising. They are very well laid out plans and are quite spacious. They come semi furnished too! Despite being a tad bit away from the city, Madapura is well conneted. It has decent tarred roads and has the facility of water which is rarealy ever a problem even in the summers. Hey, recently, I came to know more about the project. I think that the officials and the elected representatives and the mayor R Lingappa visited the project recently. He said the government has sent them the format to print the application forms locally and they are at it. Time has constrained us to meet the Monday deadline. We'll see when this gets done. Trendz Whispering Woods is a project by Trendz Group. The project has got all the necessary approvals from MUDA and banks like Axis, HDFC, ICICI, India bulls and SBI.
