Also the entire metro worksite was flooded because of a burst pipeline and no works could be taken up for 1 or 2 days. Water had to be pumped out with large pipes and then only could the work resume. I think the situation got very bad because the water levels had receded in the Periyar river like never before. It was very sad for the residents because everyday tasks come to a stand still when there's no water. As of now, a draft report that has been been approved by the Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) director board on the extension of the Kochi Metro rail to Kakkanad will be submitted for the State government’s approval soon. Hospitals are Samaritan Hospital, Thaqdees Hospital and Aishwarya Hospital. There are mostly local markets in that place. Yeah, and as per the CM Mr. Oommen Chandy, he had recently promised that the first train would start off by the end of 2015. I am very expectant of the kochi metro. Now, the traffic in the city is so much horrible that i take about 1 hour to cover a distance of 1 km to reach my office in kadavanthra. Not just Marine Drive, even some areas of Thrikkanarvattom, which include some parts of Ernakulam North, have been priced at Rs. 56.85 lakh, followed by Thevara at Rs. 53.86 lakh. Kadavanthara is priced at Rs. 51 lakh per Are, and Ravipuram is priced at Rs 47.88 per Are. It has been commissioned to start from January 2015 and I think it is a great news for the people in the city who are suffering from a terrible water shortage. This is a very big project having an estimated budget of arund 250 crores!! And according to the officials, the water will be drawn from the Pazhoorkkadavu in Muvattupuzha river and this water will be treated in the plant and then supplied to the city.Heey! Not just schools, I think the number of commercial establishments taking care of the residents' daily shopping and entertainment needs is another reason why this is a prime investment location. There are Four Seasons, Big Bazar, Choice Supermarket and lots of other supermarkets and general stores here. Of course not to forget the ABAD shopping mall, which is very popular. Nellimattom is a very calm and serene locality which is situated near to the Aluva-Munnar road. The Aluva Munnar Road actually intersects the locality. The connectivity to the nearby town of Aluva is very good here. But, I think it is at a distance of around 42.6 km. You can reach the town in around 1 hour.
yeah..that's true. but actually, you see..the nearby town is not aluva. There are other prominent towns here. Kothamangalam is one which is very near to it. Moreover Perumbavoor is at a near proximity. The city of Kochi is around 64 km from here, that would take you 1 and a half hour to reach there, but thats not bad..no?

Actually the 1231 square ft apartment is not the only type. There are other sizes of apartments here too. So the costing price starts from Rs 39.63 lacs and rises upwards from there. Hey guys, let me delve a bit into the specifications of the buildings here. So the structure is made up of Earthquake resistant RCC framed structure with proper foundation as designed by structural consultant. Solid cement blocks for walls are used.
Hey, i wanted to add that the house too has some very good add-ons to it in terms of flooring. High quality vitrified tiles for living, dining and kitchen are used. while wooden laminate flooring for bed rooms except balconies, work area and toilets are made available. Yes of course you wont get possession now, the possession date has been announced. Its from Feb 2015. This project is basically all 2 and 3 bhk apartments,quite a lot of units, over 100. Hey the place is great and all but the amenities they are offering is not upto the mark. The price that they are quoting when there isn't any good amenity worth mentioning is depressing. In the last budget, the government had announced an ambitious plan to boost the infrastructure development. I think that even though it looks good on paper, this work may not work in the ground due to several factors.
Oh, why? What's the reason for this? Is the budget for the infrastructural development faulty?

Hello. Yes. As part of the roadwidening works on the Kaloor - Deshabhimani stretch of the Banerji Road, revenue officials and contractors of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation have now started the demolition of properties in the areas were the bridges are coming up.

Hi, yeah..you know, I came to know that this is a very good movement by the residents and the authorities to figure out the problem of lack of cleanliness and waste problem in Kochi. I think this is going to be over soon.

Hi, I am from a nearby area to Alappuzha. Recently, there was a survey by some government officials in Alappuzha. The news was that they are planning a project called seafood park here. I think this will be the second seafood park in India.
If so, what all features and instructions are included in the project. If anyone knows, please share it with me.

Q: Hello, I want to build a house in Maradu in Kochi. But I have heard that there is some technical issue with the Maadu municipal corporation which has stopped the constructions. ANy idea what is happening here?

Yes. There has been this issue right now. There is actually a technical glitch which has put a stop of several of the residents' plan to renovate and reconstruct their homes. And the Maradu residents are buring with anger due to this.

Well, earmarking Rs. 20 lakh for the project, the municipality has proposed to collect clean plastic at a cost of Rs. 10 a kilo.
