I made a mistake of buying a villa at Media village, Greater Noida from Jamil Khan of Samiah Builders in 2008. I was foolish enough to pay all the money upfront. I was promised that the colony will be completed in 2009. It is now 2013 and the place still looks like a ghost town. Construction work stopped 2 years ago and Mr Khan is not owning up to his responsibility. None of the promised parks, swimming pools, common room, children play area sauna etc have been completed. As it is unlikely that Mr Khan would own upto his responsibility, my advice to everyone out there is to deal with another reputable builder and believe me Mr Khan is not one of them.. a) The room shouldn’t have any materials placed in a level higher than that of the idols or the surface of the altar.
b) Placing heavy or large idols of Lord Ganesha in the puja room is not considered auspicious.
c) Photographs of dead people should not be placed inside the puja room.
d) Ensure that the room is clean and always filled with light.
