Are you moving to Palasia soon? I think the waterlogging problems there have slightly improved than what they were in the past. The Indore Municipal Corporation had looked into the matter and had found that the drainage systems in Palasia were not in accordance to its population. Intensive de-silting and construction of storm drainage lines have been done. The waterlogging problems in Palasia have definitely reduced. There will be a further improvement in these conditions once the broken roads have been patched up by the IMCAre you moving to Palasia soon? Hey, you are right. This is a pretty interesting project to invest in. The Phase I of the DLF Gardencity was on the Agra-Bombay bypass. After its huge success, the DLF group has decided to launch the Phase II of that project in Mangliya on the bypass road too. The location is pretty good, there are good localities around as well as good schools, supermarkets, and important hospitals. The IDA is carrying on rapid land acquisition in this area for construction of a road connecting the Chhawani Bridge to Madhumilan Crossing. This land acquisition policy of the IDA has led to demolitions of several encroachments. The residents have been protesting against the demolitions so there are some issues regarding the completion date of this project. But once it is done then I think there will be sudden increase in real estate price around Chhawani and Madhumilan. Yeah, I agree with him. You know, if you have children you can be much more relaxed about them playing inside the secured complex of the township. The security is generally very tight here, questionable people are not allowed within the society gates, so the overall safety is much better. I agree. Check out some other properties in this area before you settle. The problem with the Gyansheela Super City project is that I feel the apartment sizes are too small. The 1bhk is only 530 square feet and the 2bhk is only 900 square feet. And this is only the built-up area. The actual carpet area available to you might be smaller. You can try out some other apartments in this locality like the Shikhar Balaji Skyz, or the Casa Greens. Both these projects are on A.B. Road. There is another Gyansheela project coming up on the A.B. Road – the Gyansheela Silk Space. I think you will like this better than the Gyansheela Super CityI agree. I agree, the Kanadia Link road will definitely improve traffic situation in Indore. The link road will provide the required width and would aid in free flowing traffic. My only advice is to exercise caution with any illegal structures at or around the property you are planning to purchase, as the construction of the link road would require tearing down any such structures. That being said, in my view this area is an ideal place to invest.I agree, the Kanadia Link road will definitely improve traffic situation in Indore. The link road will provide the required width and would aid in free flowing traffic. An infrastructural development of this volume will definitely shoot up the property prices in Indore. Apart from the ones he has mentioned above, they also have WiFi connectivity, without which most people cannot seem to survive these days. Especially if you have kids or you want to work from home, this comes in very handy and useful. And obviously they have a power backup system. Hey! As far as I know there are 2 bhks available ranging between 1060 - 1100 sq.ft. I think the price per sq.ft. is either 2000 or 3000 Rupees. It's definitely not more than that. I think the only gated community that's there is Pinnacle D Dreams. Not too sure whether you meant the sale or rent price of the apartment but the starting price for a 2 bhk is 45 lacs. They have a lot of good amenities. They provide wifi and have atm machines on the premises. They also have a library and health facilities which is something else that is new. Q: Hey, guys I am currently staying in a rented 3 bhk apartment in Pardeshipura. When, we moved in to the house, everything was going smoothly. But recently, my family has been facing a lot of problems in the apartment complex. When we shifted in, we were promised full power back up, a clubhouse and basically a luxrious and healthy environment. None of this was given, The swimming pool is not maintained at all. The garbage dumping area is unkept. The full power back works only at times. But the main problem, is the termite infestation. As I cant stay here for too long, I am look for a nice and clean place to buy an apartment in the near future. If anyone can help me in finding a residential complex that deals with these issues, it would be really helpful.

Kodwani really seems to know what he's doing. It's these sort of conservation practices that will help improve the city's real estate. Not fail development projects like the BRTS in Indore. It is super inefficient and on top of that, 1300 trees had to be cut down to construct the BRTS corridor. Because of this, the Bhopal bench of National Green Tribunal has ordered Indore collectors to plant 2000 indigenous trees to make up for the damage to the eco system. Kodwani was the one who filed the petition against these harmful developmental projects. And yes, chopping down 199 trees in any locality is not appealing in any way. Khandwa road has two really good international schools. One is called Podar international and I think the other one is Oshin international school. There are also a couple of CBSE schools. You really don't need to worry about hospitals in that area. There's the Pushpkunj hospital and I've seen many private hospitals in that area too. This locality does seem really good for a family. The thing was the Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam (MPAKVN) was supposed to provide water for Pithampur industrial cluster from the Narmada, but the project that was commissioned in 2011 still has not been completed. Although water has reached the religious place of Ujjain for the Simhastha in 2016 but it has not gone to Pithampur which was supposed to be acheived in the 1st phase of the project. There was a lot of pollution in the surrounding lake and the tanks were contaminated with pesticide waste. It became a very scary situation for everyone at Indore but the problem has long since then been rectified. Basically, the project was undertaken to widen the Kandia link road that connects it to Samvid nagar square. It is a 2.5km long stretch that had to be widened to 104 feet. But the residents had a huge problem with this and wanted it to be only widened to about 60 feet. The civic authorities needed to expand on their infrastructure and so the road was widened to 10 or 12 feet less than what was initially intended. I don't know about real estate prices in the locality, but driving on that stretch is so much better now and I'm glad this project took place. I don’t know about Indore specifically, but nationally, there is a lot of buzz around the fact that now the FDI is introduced in the housing sector, it is going to help a lot in cutting down costs of housing nationally. The new budget is offering a percentage concession on the entry tax for steel and on the VAT for ceramic tiles. This is quite impressive, given that the new government had only 46 days to prepare this new budget. I also think that this budget is conducive to providing a home to everyone by the year 2020. Oh Rau Pithampur is an awesome place to stay in! Very well developed roads and flyovers. This area connects Pithampur, Mhow and Indore so it has a lot of people. The Tricone City project has cafes, restaurants, and malls all very close by. There are a great number of engineering colleges all over the area and tricone city is actually on the way to IIT. One thing you really don't need to worry about is the transport facilities in the area. There are well connected trains and buses all over the city. A lot of highways here so if you prefer driving, then the roads are wide and clean. Oh the dispute you are talking about is between the farmers in rangwasa and other landowners with these Government authorities. One thing I know about this area is that the inner part of this area, that is the part away from the Main road is good for residential purposes. The most kind of property that you will find there are individual houses. Plots are also available in abundant. Hey! The givernment is using all hi tech methods for the cleaning of the city like using andriod apps and GPS technology. Apparently the collection of the garbage will be be monitored via these apps installed near the garbage bins.
Yes, I have heard about it too. Till now around 300 GPS trackers have been instaled over the dustbins and by the end of the year, the GPS will be installed in the rest of the garbage bins around the city too!

so far the civic body has managed to recover only about Rs. 150 crore, out of Rs. 150 crore, Rs. 95 crore has been collected under property tax and about Rs. 33 crore came from tax on water, and only last quarter of the financial year remaining. Yes yes. This is true, many of the builders including JSW Aluminium Ltd, DLF Commercial Developers and Parsvnath, have approached the government to surrender their projects. Out of 57 SEZs, 35 tax-free enclaves are from IT/ITeS sector. While other sectors include engineering, biotec, gems and jewellery, pharmaceuticals and textiles.

I don't think the IDA is even working now. They were supposed to start off the construction of a bridge way back eight years ago. But even after so long nothing has really turned up which is the worst any authority can do I must say.

Hello. This is really good move by the Indore Metropolitan Corporation as a lot of land is being encroached illegally by a residents and other people. This move is actually a joint operation by the district admnistration too.

I got to know that the Valuation Committee has completed its field work and the meeting of the sub-committee was held on February 25. The chairman of the sub committee is Mr. Rajneesh kasera. As far as I came to know about the Narmada Water project, there was a deadline to finish the first phase of the project by March 31, 2016. Yes. The Indore Municipal Corporation has actually been taking a lot of steps to stop illegal encroachment in the city. During one of which it destroyed over eight farm houses that were built illegally on a government land.

So here's what exactly happened. The government along with the power distribution company decided to increase the power tariff in the Indore city region and the state by over 27 %. I mean that is some huge raise if yo ask me.

I think that the total light metro system consists of 4 corridors covering a distance of 85 km. The cost per km will be 182 crores and total cost is 15,000 crores.
