Vadavalli has also been effected by water shortage in the past. This summer only, due to the extreme weather and lack of rain, most of the residents of Vadavalli went through a really tough time. I can point out some of the important residential pockets in Ramanathapuram like Rukmani Nagar, RG Nagar, Alwin Nagar, Sivaram Nagar, Sreepathy Nagar, Nethaji Nagar, Keelakarai, Kathiravan Gardens etc. I need to inform also that Nanjunda Puram Road also passes through the locality of Ramanathapuram. kalapatti is actually a growing locality. There has been good development in the past 10 years or so. You can see that many IT companies have set up in this locality. On the positive side, the ward councillor has promised that the Corporation will repair the drainage underground and in the process make the roads motorable. I think it will be sorted out in a month or two. Hello. Ganapathy is quite a favorable place to live in, owing to the number of industries that are established here as well as wellknown upcoming residential projects. There are a number of IT and software industries in the BPO sector here due to the easy availability of manpower. For transportation Ganapathy has a Town Bus Stop of its own or you can also use the major Bus Terminals at Gandhipuram which is just 2 km away. The area has heavy traffic congestion though, and this is only avoided by developing a road with six lanes at least. 1BHK apartments should be fairly easy to find, but if you want to live in an elite neighborhood they are not so prevalent.

I think the budget did right by introducing quality control mechanisms into the industrial sector. What is happening currently is that, even though Coimbatore has a huge workforce and prospective talents throughout, all this is unorganised. The potential that the city has to offer is largely under-utilised. This new policy of using MSMEs is the correct way to go about it. I heard the news that the corporation actually is considering to supply water to the 26 wards in Coimbatore on alternate days. This will help reduce the load on the Pilloor Reservoir as well. Actually these rains are helping the other reservoirs as well. Sholayar dam is also receiving a lot of water from these rains. But the housing society is still hell-bent upon constructed even more illegal buildings on this site. Did you know that they are going to build a number of public distribution shops on this site! That’s outrageous! I hope the corporation takes some serious action against these illegal constructions by simply tearing them all down. Yes, you’re right. Trichy road is pretty peaceful to stay. Also, there are no issues with public transport in the area, autos are also easily available, so connectivity is good. I agree, the waste management is very inefficient. They aren’t carrying out proper processing of the plant. But, they seem to have finally woken up. They are taking up source segregation of waste. Oh yea, the same Ukkadam bus will connect you to Singanallur as well. Buses originating from Somanur to Gandhipuram will cover majority of the main areas in between. So, man you can take all the buses you want, no problem at all. You know it’s a very smart thing to keep note of these civic issues before investing. Don’t make this water issue your deciding factor, Avinashi road have lot of advantages also. Actually, it’s not being constructed yet. It’s just a proposal under the Coimbatore 1 year implementation plan. A lot of traffic congestion issues are being reported. This is actually true. Officials from the Coimbatore civic body confirmed it a while ago. They are now busy preparing a detailed report on the same and working out the tiny details of the project before the wok can start in the beginning of May. Actually, there in lies the whole problem. The department have a week's time to clear the road to let the road dry. The authorities of the Waste Management system denied any of this. they said that they had been producing manure continuously. The general manager of the CIWM, said that they did not produce any bio gas. 3. A survey may be required.
