Q: I booked an aprtment in 2010, which i dont have the possession yet, but the inside work is so bad that i was really shocked . The tiles and the kitchen granites are chipped and have scratch mark all over, the grouts between the tiles is so dirty and cement is coming off the walls. We did complain aboout this but nothing is done yet. I am really disappoointed in this work becuase it seems like someone very unprofessional has done it and they did not pay any attention to it. Has any one experienced anything like this. They are already very bedhind in handing over the apartment and on the top such lousy work. Really disappointed in them. Save 1MB

Actually, the booking process is quite simple here. First, the booking charge is 50000 rupees. within 1 month, you have to give 10% of the total cost. Locality is satisfactory, but the roads are not. The bad roads in this locality have been a major problem, its all because of the metro construction works that are going on here. Recently only we had a lot of trouble with the local authroties and civic body in thrikkakra. also thrikkakara has very worse garbage issue. waste management is very poor. municipality is supposed to dump waste in Kochi Corporation at Brahmapuram. But somehow this process is happening very slowly and still the garbage situation is very bad here. Yes thats right. I myself was looking into all these property rates in Maradu so I know about a few. The average price rate of the independent houses currently is Rs 3900 per sq ft. yeah that's true. but, i like this locality because, it is a very neat and clean place without much of the hustle and bustle of the city. Moreover, you can get all the facilities here because of the proximity to kochi city. For shopping anyway, apart from the local small shops you dont have much shops here.
Hey, for this you can also depend on the nearby localities also no..that's not a problem here for the residents. You can find the Muthoot Engineering College in this locality, that's something to boast for this locality. Moreover there is a Government school here. Hi guys, the connectivity of this locality is quite good actually. You can see that the Salem-Kochi-Kanyakumari Highway passes adjacent to the locality. The Edappally Pukkattupady Road passes adjacent to the right side of this locality. These roads further join the Edappally-Panvel Highway and provides good connectivity to the rest of the city.
The area does not have an impressive commercial environment when compared to other localities in Kochi. But, normally seeing, there is everything at a proximate distance - everything that the residents of this locality might require through small shops. But then again, you can also find some good stores like the Mobile Store, Maria Stores, Vag Tunes as well as Best Bakery in this area.

You know one thing...according to the present system, the title of the land will not be transferred to the apartment owners until the builder repays the loan. I think that there is no water in Mattancherry also. I am from Nasreth in Mattancherry. For cooking purposes and all, I take water from a public tap because there is no pipe connection to the house. The DMRC has already started the demolition works which began on Wednesday. Once the widening work will get over, it will clearly be one of the major hurdles for erecting girders of Metro rail.
