Trikkakara is a nearby locality to Kalamassery. i think the planning committee of the Kochi Smart City have planned the infrastructure development in such a manner that the plots of the processing and non-processing zones of the SEZ are provided with road connectivity, power, water as well as communication facilities. The Maradu Water Supply Plant is a huge plant. It apparently has a capacity of a 100 million litres of water that can be supplied to the city. Right now, I think only as less as 7 million litres of water is being supplied to areas like kumbalam. With this water supply plant, Kochi will get about 25 mld of water extra. But, here, in Kochi, we have had days here and there where we did not have water due to municipality not filling the community's tanks. The Edappaly Raghavan Pillai road is actuallly a part of the alternate route which connects Edappally to Kaloor junction linking Perandoor road.
