It is just 5km away from the Avinashi Road, 3km away from the Coimbatore International Airport. The locality is pretty good. If you have children then you can always send them to the local schools, like GRG Matriculation School, Chandrakanti Matriculation School, etc. The Hope College is also in this locality only. Constructions are on track so far, and even if there are any last minute delays, it wont be for more than a month or so. You can easily get a regular 2bhk apartment for a price of 30 lacs. The smallest plot of 1300 square feet costs Rs. 7.18 lacs, the medium plot size of 1742 square feet costs Rs 9.58 lacs, and the largest plot size of 2177 square feet costs Rs 12 lacs. The property already has home loan approvals from all major banks, so you should easily be able to get approval for a home loan in order to invest in any of these plots. Hey, yeah you’re right about that solid waste management system that was started in Coimbatore. But it hasn’t been too effective as of yet. The funds allocated haven’t been enough apparently, all the citizens have not yet received the white and green garbage bins, there is a shortage of garbage pushcarts and garbage bins on the roads. Also, the number of vehicles that the system thought of employing for the transmit and dumping of garbage is not enough. There is Rs 45 lacs more that the Union Government allocated this project, which will be used soon enough to make the whole system better. I came to know that the rate of the apartment was Rs. 4300 in the third quarter of 2013. But then during the first quarter of 2014, the price started to depreciate. But, again, the price rose to Rs. 4571 rupees per square feet. Hey so I'm not completely sure whose fault that mosquito infestation was. Apparently the residents had to discharge the sewage water onto the streets only because there wasn't a proper drain network in the areas under the Jolarpet panchayat. So the panchayat was upset as well because the people should have informed them about the civic issue instead of just directly acting and not thinking about the consequences. I'm not on anyones side because the panchayat ended up taking a very long time to finally fix the problem. I used to ride my bike over some metal pieces, plastic, glass and all sorts of litter that piled up on the side. Everyday there was an accident. Such a pain it was to go on that road. Now there has been some improvement but if the by pass road project had gone according to plan, Coimbatore could have been boasting about that! The city corporation is preparing to implement a proposal to strengthen the bunds of Ukkadam Periyakulam, allowing two wheelers to pass along the water body. So a lot of environmentalists had a problem (who wouldn't?) and fought against this. Hello. There is substantial problems of water supply in the area of Ganapathy and the reason for this is the change of the governing municipal body. The problems were not so worse before so its not like the area had an explosion of population in just a year. The rest of the population who depends on the water supply from borewell are also suffering with the same problems because there are only nine borewells out of which 7 have no supply at all. Two of the other borewell have open walls and dysfunctional motors, and there are leaks in the main supply lines as well.Hello. It is called the Animal Birth Control program where the civic authorities have to sterilize 250 dogs every month. But they keep falling short of their target even though the number of dogs in the city are increasing everyday. I work in Vedapatti and I have to ride home to Sai Baba colony everyday. The situation is so bad that if a dog is sleeping also, he will immediately wake up if he senses you're nearby and will chase you. My friend and I have been chased by a whole pack this one time. The property buyers in Vadavalli can use the real estate growth to generate business and not only for accomodation. Reason is because vadavalli is also a tourist hub. It is close to Mount Maruthamallai where Lord Muruga temple is, and even Anavavi temple is only 15 km away. That is why, if you're interested in buying property you can also think of getting commercial spaces and join the trade, because it will do really well here. There are places in the city, which get water supply about once in 10 days. I hope with these developments the conditions improve a bit. The corporation are actually aiming for a water supply of once in 5 days, which is still quite pathetic, but some improvement at least. This canal passes through the Coimbatore airport and is creating quite a few problems for the airport authorities. Actully the thing is, this place now harbours a number of birds that keep flying all over the area. They go and hit against planes and even on the screen so this is very dangerous for air travel and many birds die because of this. Yeah man! The worst part is that all these illegal buildings are coming up on the Kovaipudur area, which is one of the most beautiful places in Coimbatore. Its so lush and green and surrounded by mountains. It will be a shame to see such a beautiful place turned into another urban settlement full of unauthorised, illegal buildings. Its a shame because a lot of vegetation will be affected by these constructions and the poor wild animals will have to suffer as a result of that. Yeah man! There were a lot of men and machinery assigned to flush out all the dirty water in the area. By a couple of hours the Lanka corner was open again for people to travel on. And by 9 or 10 even the Kaleeshwara Mill road was clear of all the drainage. But yes, Avinashi flyover and Shastri road faced a big problem. They had a lot of power cuts and because of this Coimbator Corporation had to only use their diesel operated machines. So the completeion of the task was delayed. A lot of people were very pissed off because of this situation. Coimbatore should improve on their civic ammenities if they want to make it a good place for people to live in. The civic authorities could have easily solved the problem by just linking the septic tank to the underground drainage system but obviously they didn't do that, giving one excuse after the other. But apparently it was the duty of the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearence Board to do the work because they're the ones who intially laid out the pipelines. The board officials decided that since there were plans to demolish those illegal structures, there was nothing that could be done till that point, and residents had no choice but to suffer. Also, it’s almost equidistant from Ramanathapuram as well, which is a well known residential area in Coimbatore. Dude, the roads will be fine, if these buses and vendors stop parking their vehicles and carts on the road. Police should chase away these people man. The argument going on right now is that instead of extending the road all the way from Kangeyapalayam to Neelambur, just develop and extend the road between Mettupalayam and Neelambur. There are two highways around the road - NH 162, NH 209. So, the road that connects to the highway is pretty fine. no issues that I know of. They are making one in R.S.puram too. R.S puram on will be bigger than Nanjundapuram. But, they will spend a good 48 lakh on the Nanjundapuram one as well. You have the Maharaja Park right there on Avinashi road, Neelambur area. Once in a while you could just go there. It’s not so expensive also. 350 bucks per person for like the whole day. However if you are ready to wait a little longer then you could go ahead and avail it coz it will be ready for use in September 2014. Yeah all the lakes are to be cleaned up. Except for Ukkadam Periyakulam. CRRT has been known to do the clean up work for Cooum and Adyar rivers in Chennai. Madam. Very good choice Thudiyalur. I was looking at the change in prices compared to a premium locality like RS Puram. I asked the developers of the project about the pricing for the project. Presently the per sq ft price for the project is 4750 sq ft. Only if the contractors can be fueled financially, they will take it forward.
