Oh....Exactly..this is a grave situation. I think the date of handing over the apartment to the respective owners was in December 2010 right? Some have made all the payments towards the apartment cost. I think many have not confirmation on the parking allotment also from Puravankara.

The water situation is not that good in Fort Kochi. Residents of Fort Kochi have been facing water crisis, on and off for a year now. People have sometimes not had water for 10 days, and although they have complained to officials, there is no response to the complaints. yes its a good area, Kochi InfoPark is here, it is second largest one in all of Kerala. Many other developments making this area price rise. State government and central government offices are here, so it is good for business and government works. Green Vistas Prakrriti will be good apartments but it will take long May 2017. Cheap but you have to wait, if you are ok with that then you should buy, great area on the rise. They have a supermarket, spa, library, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, broadband, and many other luxuries. Apparently they have fire hose hydrants and fire extinguishers on every floor, and when they did the electrical wiring of the building they made it fire resistant. It is a nice place for sure. But yeah, I'm afraid that there is some water problems here. Residents have been depending on water tankers for some time now. The Metro officials are doing something to ease traffic, but maybe it is not helping. Because of Metro works, many roads have been damaged, which are being repaired. The GCDA has proposed to widen and tar STP Road, and also the Chilavanoor Bund Road. There is traffic jam almost every day near the KSRTC depot, A L Jacob railway overbridge, and Kathrikkadavu junction. The Paradise road which is being built to reduce traffic, is taking a long time to construct. Recently CPI(M) party workers protested against the slow progress of the widening and tarring of roads near Metro sites. That being said, the police force is also taking extreme measures to contain crimes in this area, and I have personally seen a significant increase in police patrols in the past few months. About half these petty crimes take place in tourist spots, like Fort Kochi. Some parts of the royal family house has even been converted into a museum. Now this isn't the best real estate locality with the greatest potential in Kochi. But you do get affordable houses and rent is much cheaper here than in places like MG road and Marine Drive. In fact, it actually seems like the better option because it's got great connectivity and infrastructure facilities. It seems to be turning into a prominent location for residential homes because there are tons of vacant plots here that many people are interested in. Hey it's interesting to note that the metro rail work was disrupted again in May. This time because the transported materials couldn't reach the metro construction sites. The Public Works Department seemed more hell bent on completing the Kalamassery-Manalimukku road concreting project that this hindered traffic such that the metro rail work was delayed and put on held. I think the civic authorities should make sure simultaneous development happens or they should focus on one project at a time. What is happening is that the dirty water is seeping through and contaminating the underwater water supply. A lot of people here in Kakkanad depend on underground borewells, this contamination is taking a toll on the overall health of the residents of Kakkanad.Yes, as far as I know the authorities are not showing any initiative about dealing with this hazard. They only have to pay for the land acquisition as the Vaduthala MLA has agreed to pay 5 lakhs for the project. But even then since they're in such a financial crunch, choking up 1 crore for the land acquisition and rehabilitaion will be difficult. So they're thinking about including this project as part of the Vaduthala railway Over Bridge project. Hey btw, as of now the construction prcess has stopped. Yeah, there was an unavailability of crushed stones and manufactured sand, which are essential for construction purpose. So the RBDCK stopped working. Even some land acquisition problems had delayed the process earlier, I dont know how they are going to keep up wtihin the 18 month deadline. Kakkanad is already quite well developed and now the plan will be to make it bigger and better worth lots more money. There are going to be new schools, hospitals, supermarkets and malls. There will be a check on the civic facilities in the area and a lot of repair work would be going on. This is only done because of the sudden increase in population but that usually happens wherever there are huge IT parks such as this. Investing here is a very good idea. It's a given that this is a prime location and property appreciation will definitely happen in the near future. My cousin is actually staying in Kalamassery, in a 2bhk apartment. A 2bhk with square feet of 1000 to 1200 has a rent of 8k to 10k per month. My cousin doesn't face too many civic problems, and water supply is regular. Most of the commercial spaces are standalone developments but you also find quite a few office spaces on the last floor of buildings. But these offices don't have too many facilities so I think that' another reason why the demand for commercial space is lesser here as compared to other areas in Kochi. Rental values are rs 20 to 30 per month nd the rate for ground floor places is more expensive. Translated capital value rranges between Rs 2500 to 3500 /sqft. See the fault doesnt lie with the locality. Aluva is a good place to live in, I think this was just an isolated incident of carelessness. As long as you make sure that the apartment you're going after has no such faulty construction, and everything has been done as per the rulebook, you have nothing to worry about. Hey its quite a possibility. The KMRL appointed Rail India Technical and Economic Services in July 2013 to study further expansion of this line. Yes I heard about that too, that the mayor is now blaming CPI(M) for all this mess. According to them, obviously one person cannot be responsible for issuing the permit for such a big project. Obviously he was pressurised from above. And since the CPI(M) was in charge of the city’s civic administrations, all fingers are now pointed at them. I know how you feel. I have to cross this road everyday to go to work and seriously speaking its a big nuisance. Currently the Roads and buildings department of the HMR are looking into this project. I think it is yet to be executed though. They are planning to adjust the road level which is really uneven. The old Venduruthy bridge was shut down almost 10 years ago, remember after that dredger accident? Passenger traffic was completely stopped on the route. Basically all that's needed right now is the clearance from the electrical inspectorate for the 1,000 KWA electricity connection that this plant needs required. i came to know that the starting price of the apartments here are from 48 lakhs onwards. the location is adjacent to the smart city. So, i think they have kept their price very reasonable. i know some very good project of Skyline, and really feel that this one will also be as good with the facilities.
Yeah, the amenities here are pretty good actually. they have a grand entrance with separate entry and exit gates, there is a central park with all types of facilities like water body, amphi-theatre, kids play area, glass roof shelters, jogging track etc. There is a game room, 60 seater AC mini cinema theatre, yoga centre, large swimming pool with water jets, kids pool etc there.

The 2 bhks however are there in just one standard size - 1098 square feet, which is quite a reasonable size. It means that the apartment will be spacious and will have good natural ventilation. All basic amenities are here, like community hall and club house. But the interesting features include this rain water harvesting system, which i personally feel is really an added advantage of this project, and will definitely pull in more investors
I think the most interesting amenity being offered here are the health facilities, within the project premises. Often we dont see such features in apartment projects, but for me this is one of the primary things of importance there is in any residential project.

Hi guys, I recently came to know about this project called San City lake view. I thought I could share some information with you. One of my friends told me that the project is expected to be completed in around January 2015. He also mentioned that it is a very affordable and good apartment project.
Yeah I think that the project will involve just some plots that will be on sale. You can buy these valuable plots in this area to build the houses of your choice. The prices of these plots are placed at rs. 300 per square feet. I think it is a good bargain.

I want to tell you that there is not much option in terms of types of apartments available under this project. Its just a single building, consisting of only 3 bhk apartments. The only option you might have here is in choosing the apartment size, as these 3 bhks come in different built up are sizes. The connectivity of Mundamveli is excellent in my opinion. The PT Jacob road passes through the centre of the locality and gives connectivity to various parts of the town. The locality is near to Wonderla Amusement park which is one of the large amusement parks in Asia itself. Thengod is also close to the Kadambrayar River and a lush greenery near to the area. This makes it a decent locality to live in. For eating out, there is a very good regional restaurant called the nadan thattu kada. There is a gym called New Gel Fitness Centre, also here that can be a recreational stuff for the residents here. The villas are located in kakkanad, which is one of the most well connected city centres and a lot of buses come from and to kakkanad and connect it with other parts of the city. The nearest bus stop from the villas is Kuzhikattumoola, it is 1.7 kms from the project. There are a number of schools around the area with Indian School of Commerce and Kochi Business School being one of the renowned schools in the area. I think that the water that is pumped is actually used by the residents mostly only for domestic purposes like drinking, bathing, and washing.
